Collection admission costs JPY 510 at the standard rate or JPY 310 for university students. Senior high school pupils and younger and visitors aged 65+ enter free with required proof and conditions. The garden joint ticket costs JPY 660 at the standard rate or JPY 350 for university students. Special exhibition prices vary.
Opening hours and closed days
Normally 09:00–17:00, entry 16:30. Friday extensions close 20:00 or 19:00 according to exhibition and period. Closed Mondays, 25 December–1 January and changeovers, with public-holiday Monday/some special-exhibition exceptions; check the dated calendar.

After art, walk to the neighbouring garden. A joint ticket covers garden and collection together.
How to get to Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum
Take line 2/6 to Hatchobori, then line 9 towards Hakushima to Shukkeien-mae near the museum; garden is beside it. Return line 9 towards Hatchobori, then line 2/6 towards Hiroshima. Meeting transfer conditions gives an adult fare of JPY 240 one way or JPY 480 return. With cash, collect a transfer ticket at first alighting, valid that day. With IC, tap each boarding/alighting and change within 60 minutes after first alighting. The opposite-direction return needs a new fare.

Extended Friday opening in 2026–2027
On Fridays from 1 April to 23 September 2026, the museum closes at 20:00, with entry until 19:30. From 24 September 2026 to 31 March 2027, Friday closing is 19:00, with entry until 18:30. Check exhibition and period-specific notices for your date.
