A short trip: Narita worship or Disneyland?
Spend one night near Narita Station for Naritasan and Omotesando meals. For Tokyo Disneyland on arrival day, compare Maihama and Shin-Urayasu hotels. You need an arrival flight leaving park time after airport-to-Maihama travel, plus a ticket for your visit date.

Day 1 · Narita Tourist Pavilion and Omotesando
Travel from the airport to Narita town, see festival floats at the tourist pavilion and eat on Omotesando. For a late arrival or closure day, omit the exhibition and enjoy the street and a meal instead.
- Narita Airport railway station → Keisei Narita Station or JR Narita Station
Choose a train stopping at Narita town’s station, distinguishing it from Skyliner services for Nippori and Ueno. Arriving at Terminal 3 requires travel to the Terminal 2 railway station first. Airport hotels and Narita station-area hotels are in different locations.
- Around JR Narita and Keisei Narita stations → Narita Tourist Pavilion
Walk about ten minutes along Omotesando to the tourist pavilion. Visit the float display, then return to the station. Allow separate time for the further walk to the temple’s main hall.
- Narita Tourist Pavilion entrance → Tourist information and festival float display
Browse local information on the ground floor, then the festival floats upstairs. Admission is free. Before going upstairs, check the official notice for lift availability on your date. If stairs are difficult and the lift is unavailable, visit only the ground floor.

- Narita Tourist Pavilion → Around Narita Station
Return along the same Omotesando route after your visit. The station is about ten minutes away; allow extra time for meals, queues and reaching your hotel.
See the attraction guide for pavilion opening dates and lift restrictions. Restaurant hours and queues vary by business.
Day 2 · Naritasan temple visit, then the airport
If you have enough time before departure, visit the temple before travelling to the airport.
- Around JR Narita and Keisei Narita stations → Naritasan Somon gate via Omotesando
Walk through Omotesando’s shopping street to the Somon gate. Omotesando extends about 800 metres from the station area; the main hall is a further walk beyond the gate.
- Naritasan Somon gate → Great Main Hall
Follow steps and slopes through the grounds to the Great Main Hall. If you need to avoid stairs, check lift locations on the official grounds map and their availability for your date first.

- Great Main Hall → Temple visit and grounds
Visit the temple and explore around the main hall. Buildings and reception desks have different hours; on a late arrival, visit only the areas still open. Separate activities such as requested prayers and sutra copying are excluded.

- Great Main Hall → Somon gate and Omotesando
Retrace the grounds route down to Somon and return to Omotesando. For a meal, check hours and queues at your chosen restaurant, such as an eel specialist. Temple opening hours do not apply to restaurants.
- Omotesando → Around Narita Station
Follow the same Omotesando route back to the station area. Add time beyond the walk if you want to browse streets or eat.
- Keisei Narita Station or JR Narita Station → Narita Airport Station or Airport Terminal 2 Station
Take a train stopping at Narita Airport. JR Choshi-bound trains are not airport trains. Get off at Narita Airport Station for Terminal 1 or Airport Terminal 2 Station for Terminals 2 and 3.

- Your arrival airport railway station → Your departure terminal
For Terminal 3, continue from Terminal 2 by the connecting walkway or free shuttle. Allow train waits and terminal travel to meet your airline’s check-in arrival guidance. The airport lists station-to-terminal walks of about five minutes for Terminals 1 and 2 and ten minutes for Terminal 3. These are not total times including train travel, waiting and departure procedures.
Work backwards from your airline’s recommended airport arrival time. For an early flight, go straight to the airport and move the temple visit to day one.
Included: These are ordinary adult Keisei Main Line fares for one trip each way between Narita Airport Station or Airport Terminal 2 Station and Keisei Narita Station. The total adds two one-way fares of JPY 280 by paper ticket or JPY 272 by IC. Tourist pavilion entry is free; the total does not establish admission costs for the entire temple.
Extra costs and conditions: JR, departures from Haneda, buses, hotel shuttles, taxis, luggage storage, requested prayers, sutra copying, souvenirs, meals, hotels and flights cost extra. This is not the whole trip’s cost.
The table currently linked by Keisei Narita Station’s official fare search is dated 1 April 2025 and was rechecked on 9 October 2026. Look up fares, stopping services and timetables again for your travel date. For JR, Haneda, buses or hotel shuttles, check costs separately against the actual route and conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Do Disneyland one-day ticket prices vary by date?
Adult one-day tickets start at JPY 8,900 and vary by date. Select your date and park in the ticket calendar to check actual prices and availability. Airport trains, meals and hotels cost extra, beyond admission.
Is arrival day enough to see Disneyland?
Immigration, airport travel and hotel access reduce time in the park. Prepare a ticket for the correct date and park, then calculate entry timing from your actual flight.
