Admission
Museum admission is ¥1,200 for adults and ¥600 for university and high school students. Junior high school students and younger enter free. Student and free rates require a student ID or proof of age. International students should check accepted documents, such as ISIC, in the official guide.
Opening hours
The museum opens 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with admission until 5:30 PM. It closes December 28–January 1. On crowded days, ticket-line registration may end before 5:30 PM.

How to get to Osaka Castle Museum
Take Osaka Metro's Chuo Line to Tanimachi 4-chome. Leave through Exit 9 and walk through Otemon Gate to the museum. From Morinomiya, use Exit 1 or 3-B and follow park signs. The official FAQ estimates 15–20 minutes from the station to the museum. For a relatively flat approach, compare the Tanimachi 4-chome route through Otemon.
