FLIGHT DISRUPTION GUIDE

Delhi ↔ Tokyo Haneda: flight status, delays and airport counters

Haneda and Narita are separate airports. Confirm HND on a replacement ticket; an airport change can mean an extra ground transfer and a new check-in deadline.

These are operating flight numbers. A codeshare marketing number on the same aircraft is not another service. Ask the airline which operator should issue your disruption record.

Check flight status for your travel date

Open the HND official airport website. At Haneda, choose Flights → International Flights; at Narita, use the flight search. Select arrival or departure, the airport’s local flight date and the operating number. For an India departure, also check your booking and airline notice.

If a flight is missing from the result, first check the date, midnight departure and operator. A search window, delayed feed or unavailable page can cause a missing result. Contact the airline before deciding the flight is cancelled.

Certificate, refund, baggage and insurance

Select your operating airline for its certificate service, reporting deadlines, contact hours and Japanese request phrases.

Before leaving the airport, save the notice, revised itinerary and any baggage report. Ask which meal, hotel or transport expenses are authorised. Check your insurer’s conditions and passenger-rights guidance.

Local time and overnight flights

India uses IST (UTC+5:30). Japan uses JST (UTC+9), 3 hours 30 minutes ahead. Use the departure airport’s calendar date when searching for a flight or certificate. “+1” in a timetable means arrival on the next local calendar day.

A flight departing shortly after midnight may require you to arrive at the airport the previous evening. Follow your current ticket and the airline’s check-in deadline, including any revised schedule.
