Before returning to your hotel, use the operator’s stop guidance to find tomorrow’s boarding point. The northbound stop is in front of Palette Kumoji · パレットくもじ, three minutes on foot from Kencho-mae Station; the hotel-to-station walk is extra. The Naha return drop-off is almost opposite.
Day 2 · Hotel → Prefectural Office North Entrance → Kinen Koen Mae → aquarium → Naha hotel
See the whale shark and manta rays in Churaumi Aquarium’s large tank today. Travel from Naha by return bus. Walking to the stop, bus waits and park travel are excluded from bus ride times.

Board northbound YKB at the stop in front of Palette Kumoji and alight at Kinen Koen Mae (Central Gate). One official timetable example leaves at 08:40 and arrives at 10:45: two hours five minutes of bus travel. With this bus and the 16:15 return below, you have five hours 30 minutes in the park. Check these services operate on your date before departing. Official guidance gives about ten minutes on foot from the stop to the aquarium entrance. Enter the Central Gate, turn right at Haisai Plaza and follow signs north towards the aquarium.

Cross the footbridge from the Central Gate to the Naha-bound YKB stop beneath the footbridge connecting to the charter-bus car park. Recheck your date’s service and stop, allowing boarding wait time. Traffic can delay arrival in Naha. Alight almost opposite the stop in front of Palette Kumoji, walk to your hotel and eat dinner in Naha. Adult fares are JPY 1,900 each way, JPY 3,800 return.

Day 3 · Hotel → Kokusai Street and First Makishi Public Market → hotel → airport
After the northern aquarium trip, choose souvenirs on Kokusai Street or eat at First Makishi Public Market on your last day. With a morning flight, move the walk to day one and go to the airport. This itinerary walks back to the hotel before taking an airport train from Kencho-mae.

After entering Japan, see Okinawa’s nature and history in the museum’s permanent exhibition. Travelling straight from the airport requires enough viewing time and suitable museum luggage storage. Stopping at your Kencho-mae hotel first changes journeys and costs.

After immigration and baggage collection, use the terminal’s second-floor passage to Naha Airport Station. Travel towards Tedako-Uranishi to Omoromachi: JPY 320, 19 minutes. Walk 10–15 minutes to the museum’s currently used front entrance. Large luggage lockers beside it on floor one require a JPY 100 coin, returned after use. If luggage does not fit or lockers are full, ask the general information desk about other storage.

Day 2 · Hotel → Shurijo Castle Park → Naha city → hotel
Walk Shureimon and the castle grounds for Ryukyu history. For the Seiden interior, match your date’s opening and reservation slot. When changing dates for closures, adjust the other facilities and transport.

Take a Tedako-Uranishi-bound train from Kencho-mae to Shuri: JPY 320, 14 minutes. Use Shuri’s south exit and the official Shureimon walking route, generally listed at about 15 minutes. For a Seiden reservation, allow 40–50 minutes between station arrival and your slot.

Visit the castle and paid area. Adult admission is JPY 400 through 21 November or JPY 1,000 from the 23rd. For Seiden interior visits from 23 November 2026, show the dated, timed reservation-inclusive ticket’s QR code at Hoshinmon. Unreserved tickets exclude the interior. The whole park closes on the 22nd; visit around the paid area’s noon opening on the 23rd.

Reduce outdoor visits when strong rain or wind makes castle or garden walking difficult. Before switching to the museum, check opening, last admission and Yui Rail operation. Do not assume indoor facilities operate normally when a typhoon stops transport. Skipping or changing visits changes admission and journeys too.
Day 3 · Hotel → Fukushuen → city meal → hotel → airport
After seeing Okinawa’s nature and history at the museum and Shurijo Castle Park, finish with Fukushuen and a city meal. For an early flight, move the garden to an earlier city day or skip it. Kencho-mae’s airport train takes about 13 minutes, excluding the hotel return and formalities.

Leave your Kencho-mae hotel and use the official garden access map to the entrance at 2-29-19 Kume after 09:00. It is seven minutes on foot from Kencho-mae, plus hotel-to-station walking. Adult daytime entry is JPY 200. After the garden, return towards Kencho-mae for a meal.

Can I reach Churaumi Aquarium without a rental car on a three-day trip?
Yes, using day two for the north. Board northbound YKB in front of Palette Kumoji, alight at Kinen Koen Mae and walk about ten minutes to the aquarium. Return from the Naha-bound stop beneath the connecting footbridge, reached across the footbridge from the Central Gate.
Choose both services in your date’s official timetable. Yanbaru Express takes no seat reservations; later services do not guarantee seats either. If you miss the last bus, check Naha vehicles, fares and tolls at the Central Gate taxi rank. Taxis are excluded from the subtotal.
