For 25 September–28 November 2026 exhibitions, ordinary adults pay JPY 530 for the museum permanent exhibition or JPY 400 for the art collection. A same-day two-exhibition 1DAY pass costs JPY 750; preschool children enter free. It excludes some special exhibitions. Recheck exhibitions/prices after that period.
Opening hours and closed days
The museum opens from 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday–Thursday and Sunday, with last entry at 17:30. On Friday–Saturday, it opens from 09:00 to 20:00, with last entry at 19:30. It closes on Mondays unless Monday is a public or substitute holiday or Memorial Day, when closure moves to the next weekday. It also closes from 29 December 2026 to 3 January 2027.

How to get to Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum
The museum is usually ten minutes on foot from Omoromachi, or 15 at a slower pace. Under the 8 September 2026 notice, the auxiliary entrance and rear gate remain closed; use the front entrance.

Use the front entrance
Under the 8 September 2026 notice, auxiliary entrance and rear gate remain closed for the time being. Allow 10–15 minutes from Omoromachi to the front entrance. Check for updated closure notices beforehand.
