For the September 25–November 28, 2026 exhibition period, adult admission is ¥530 for the museum's permanent exhibition and ¥400 for the art collection exhibition. A 1DAY pass for both on the same day is ¥750; preschool children enter free. The pass does not cover every special exhibition. Recheck exhibitions and admission for visits after the period ends.
Opening hours
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, the museum opens 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with last admission at 5:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, it opens 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., with last admission at 7:30 p.m. It closes Mondays, except public holidays, substitute holidays, and Okinawa Memorial Day, when it opens and closes on the next weekday instead. It also closes December 29, 2026–January 3, 2027.

Walk about 10 minutes from Omoromachi Station, or about 15 minutes at a slower pace. Under the September 8, 2026 notice, the side entrance and rear gate remain closed for the time being. Use the main entrance.

It does not cover every special exhibition, so check the names of the exhibits you want before choosing a ticket. Recheck exhibitions and fares after the period ends.
Use the main entrance
Under the September 8, 2026 notice, the side entrance and rear gate remain closed for the time being. Allow about 10–15 minutes on foot from Omoromachi Station to the main entrance. Before visiting, check whether the closure notice has changed.
