Admission
General admission is ¥350; college students pay ¥150. High school students and younger, and visitors age 65 or older, enter free. If eligible for free or reduced admission, check official identification, required documents, and conditions before entering.
Opening hours
The garden opens 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. March 16–September 15 and 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. September 16–March 15. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. It closes December 29–31.

How to get to Shukkeien Garden · 縮景園
From Hiroshima Station, take route 2 or 6 to Hatchobori, then change to route 9 toward Hakushima and get off at Shukkeien-mae. Walk to the garden entrance. Return on route 9 toward Hatchobori, then route 2 or 6 toward Hiroshima Station. With transfer conditions met, the adult fare is ¥240 one way or ¥480 round trip. With cash, collect a transfer ticket when leaving the first tram; it is valid that day. With a transit IC card, tap on and off each tram and transfer within 60 minutes of leaving the first. Returning in the opposite direction after sightseeing requires a new fare.
