Through November 21, 2026, paid-area admission is ¥400 for adults, ¥300 for high school students, and ¥160 for elementary and junior high school students. From November 23, the fares become ¥1,000, ¥760, and ¥370, respectively. Children under 6 enter free. From November 23, the Seiden interior requires a ticket with a date and time reservation.
Opening hours
From April–November, the free area opens 8:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and the paid area opens 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with last admission at 6:30 p.m. From December–March, the free area opens 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. and the paid area opens 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with last admission at 5:30 p.m. See below for the November 22–23, 2026 closure and opening times.

How to get to Shurijo Castle Park
Take Yui Rail toward Tedako-Uranishi from Kenchomae and get off at Shuri. Walk about 15 minutes to Shureimon, allowing additional time inside the park. For a Seiden reservation, the operator recommends a slot 40–50 minutes after your expected arrival at Shuri Station.

November 22, 2026 closure and November 23 opening
All areas close on November 22, 2026. On November 23, the free area inside the walls is scheduled to open at 11:15 a.m., and the paid area and Seiden interior at noon. From November 23, interior entry requires a ticket with a date and time reservation. A ticket without one excludes the interior, and same-day reservations are possible only when spaces remain.
