The nationwide JAPAN RAIL PASS is valid for 7, 14 or 21 consecutive days. As of 7 October 2026, adult Ordinary passes cost JPY 50,000/80,000/100,000 through the official JR website, or JPY 53,000/84,000/105,000 through designated overseas agents. Green Car prices are listed separately below. A supplementary ticket is required before boarding Nozomi or Mizuho.

The JR-WEST All Area Pass costs JPY 26,000 for adults or JPY 13,000 for children and covers specified western Japan routes for seven consecutive days. It includes the San’yō Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Hakata and the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Tsuruga and Jōetsumyōkō, plus eligible buses and the JR-West Miyajima Ferry. It is not the nationwide JAPAN RAIL PASS.

The Kansai WIDE Excursion Pass costs JPY 12,000 for an adult or JPY 6,000 for a child and covers specified routes across Kansai, Okayama and Tottori for three consecutive days. Non-Japanese passport holders, including eligible foreign residents of Japan, may use it. This agency-only product is different from the five-day Kansai WIDE Area Pass.

The WEST QR Kansai Area Pass costs JPY 2,700–6,700 for adults, depending on its one- to four-day validity. Its live QR ticket covers eligible JR local trains and HARUKA within the mapped area; HARUKA non-reserved seats are included, and its designated reserved seats can be booked up to twice. Shinkansen travel is not included.

The WEST QR Kansai Mini Pass costs JPY 3,000 for an adult or JPY 1,500 for a child and is a live QR ticket for eligible JR local, rapid and special rapid trains for three consecutive days. HARUKA needs a separate limited-express ticket; Shinkansen travel is not included.

The All Kyushu Rail Pass covers specified JR Kyushu routes for three, five or seven consecutive days. It can suit a trip spanning northern and southern Kyushu. The Kyushu Shinkansen is included from Hakata to Kagoshima-Chuo, and the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen from Takeo-Onsen to Nagasaki.

The Northern Kyushu Rail Pass covers specified JR routes in northern Kyushu for three or five consecutive days. It can suit a Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita or Kumamoto itinerary. On the Kyushu Shinkansen, only the Hakata–Kumamoto section is included.

The Southern Kyushu Rail Pass covers specified JR Kyushu routes south of Kumamoto and Oita for three consecutive days. The Kyushu Shinkansen is included between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo. You cannot exchange this pass at Hakata Station or Fukuoka Airport.

The JR KYUSHU MOBILE PASS FUKUOKA WIDE Area is a smartphone ticket for local, rapid and non-reserved limited-express trains on specified routes around Fukuoka for two consecutive days. It is not exchanged for a paper pass. Shinkansen, subway and bus travel are not included.
